Farfel the Dog was the friendly, floppy-eared hound dog puppet featured in Nestle Quik chocolate commercials from 1953-65. According to Nestle, Farfel and his pal Danny O'Day (his puppeteer), along with the help of their ventriloquist Jimmy Nelson, sang the familiar jingle, "N-e-s-t-l-e-s, Nestle's makes the very best . . . chocolate!"
