Here are the M&M's in holiday garb: the top two in the cool colors of Easter, while the trio below is decked out as the perfect holiday--especially when they're red and dressed in a Santa hat!
With these colorful characters, everyday is a holiday!
In 1994, Mars Inc. issued Easter versions of their rotund little spokescandies. This M&M has taken on the soft pastel colors of the new M&M Holiday Chocolate Candies, in soft green, hatching out of a lavender eggshell. Their theme is: "Everyone likes to dress up for the holidays. So do we!"
The M&M Story
According to Mars, Inc., during World War II, M&M's Chocolate Candies were placed in "C" rations and were a favorite with American service personnel. M&M's were also on the first space shuttle. Since they melt in your mouth and not in your hand, they wouldn't get the astronauts' spacesuits all messy! More than one million M&M's are made every day.
