Miss Curity is the "First Lady of First Aid." She has helped the Kendall Corporation market its line of first-aid supplies for more than half a century. She's also been a role model for two generations of nurse wanna-be's.

The earliest Miss Curity dolls were made by Ideal, and came with real first-aid kits, complete with bandages, scissors, tape, a toy thermometer, and a "Little Nurse's Handbook."

This 19-inch plastic doll was made in the 1950s as a counter display for drug stores. Miss Curity's name is printed on her front pocket and her starched white nurse's cap.
